Aurora Bakehouse is a small European-style bakery on the corner of Linden & 8th. Every loaf is shaped by hand, every pastry laminated through three cold days, every morning a small ceremony.

Our Story

A small bakery,
made slowly.

Aurora began in 2014, in a kitchen barely large enough for two ovens. We started with a single sourdough, a borrowed starter named Margot, and a stubborn belief that bread deserves time.

Today we work with stone-milled flours from regional grain growers, butter from a single dairy in Normandy, and a wild levain that has been alive for over a decade. Nothing is rushed. Everything is shaped by hand.
